Second training session in Palma de Mallorca (26/02/2012-11/03/2012, Palma de Mallorca, Spain)
Second phase of preparations for the Olympic qualification came to an end. This time the weather was beautiful, blue sky, the temperature within the limits of 16-18 C and the daily breeze. We were able to perform daily long training sessions. After the first week of sailing we were able to see the effects of work, which we have done during the previous training session. This makes us happy and motivates to continue the hard work Palma guests already many sailors in various classes, because in less than two week time the races at the 43 Trofeo SAR Princessa Sofia MAPFRE start. Finn world class sailors such as Ben Ainslie (GBR), Giles Scott (GBR), Chris Cook (CAN), and Jonas Hoegh – Christensen (DEN) also train intensively in Palma, which gives us the opportunity of training together, comparing and learning from the best the world. Together with Polish national Finn class team, composed of Rafal Szukiel, Piotr Kula and Milosz Wojewski, coached by Andrzej Piasecki, we create excellent training team, which we supports, motivates and push each other to make progress everyday. Now, after two weeks spent in Palma, we go back home to relax and recover. On the 22.03.2012 we fly back to carry out final preparations before startingin the 43 Trofeo SAR Princessa Sofia MAPFRE regatta (30.03-7.04.2012), which are the first of Polish Olympic qualifications regatta for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
